Spinello testimonial - Highlands Ranch

The house was filled with joy the moment we learnt our baby was on his way to join our family. Soon we began preparing for Matteo’s arrival, from his first wardrobe to the bath and grooming accessories, and his first toys. However, as we started piling up all the good baby “stuff”, we realized how small and impractical the soon-to-be nursery was. The room was actually a tiny bedroom we’ve been using as a studio and had a balcony we rarely used. Therefore, we decided to close in the balcony to make an addition to the room and transform it into a spacious nursery and future toddler bedroom.

We solicited quotes from a number of contractors. Basement & Beyond clearly stood out from the very first meeting at the house. Wes came out with a professional designer who immediately pointed out a few important technical features that would have been made to the addition to ensure proper insulation and ventilation, something other contractors didn’t bother to mention. Afterwards, Wes brought in a professional framer who assessed the structural implications for the adjacent room and garage. A couple of days later, Wes presented us with a detailed estimate and timeline for the project. Basement & Beyond’s competitive quote, combined with the professionalism demonstrated during the assessment and presentation of the project, made our selection process very easy.

The construction begun a few weeks later; a project manager was often on site to ensure all phases of the project were executed according to the designer specifications. Wes often came out too to check with us that all was progressing in line with our expectations and demands. That gave us the comfort we had selected a trusted and thorough contractor.

The addition was finished within the terms we agreed upon and all was done according to specifications. The workers maintained a clean and tidy workspace throughout the project and just a regular clean-up of the house was required when the addition was ready.

Matteo has being enjoying his bedroom from the very beginning; he often sits on the chair by the window (which lays where the railing of the useless balcony used to be) to read one of his favorite night-time story books, filling his dreams with exotic worlds and enchanting characters while sleeping in his cozy and quiet bedroom.

Thank you Basements & Beyond,
The Spinello family
