Wes Cooper

Owner – Wes Cooper

Wes is a 4th generation general contractor. Stemming from a family who is heavily involved in commercial construction, Wes, found his passion in residential remodeling. Originally graduating from University with a degree in Finance, Wes supplemented his education by studying Construction Management and Green Building at Colorado State University. Wes takes personal interest by visiting each project multiple times during the construction process. In addition to maintaining the highest level of construction quality, Wes values customer service as the most important differentiating factor between us and our competition. Wes promotes an open door policy; whereby clients can feel free to communicate directly with him.

 
Tammy Cooper

Marketing Director – Tammy Cooper

Tammy has joined Basements & Beyond with over 15 years of professional sales and marketing experience. Tammy put herself through university graduating with an honors degree in Political Science, Law and Marketing. Following this, Tammy worked as a Marketing Manager for two Fortune 100 companies: Hewlett-Packard and General Mills. In this role, she gained important skills which she has translated in her role as a Marketing Director for Basements & Beyond.

Her passion for fashion and decorating coupled with her 15 years experience in marketing and sales provide for one exceptional skill set. Her dedication to her clients and her love for residential construction makes marketing the perfect profession! As a result, Tammy prides herself on representing one of the most renowned and prestigious residential remodeling companies in Colorado.

Tammy's corporate background in marketing and her sense of integrity, professionalism and her hard work have earned her a great level of trust and loyalty among her colleagues and clients.

Tammy speaks both French and English fluently.

Volunteering is an important part of life for Tammy. She devotes a lot of her personal time to a number of charitable organizations. She is a Director of the Cloverleaf Foundation and is an active participant in the community.

 
Tony Deluzio

Project Development Manager – Tony Deluzio

Tony has over 15 years of experience in commercial and residential construction ranging from steel stud framing, gyp board, and acoustical ceilings to large multifamily projects and single family homes. During that time he has been involved with most aspects of construction from working in the field with his tools as a carpenter to a construction manager overseeing 10 plus projects in excess of 1 million dollars.

One of Tony’s most memorable projects was the volunteer work that he has been involved with at The Denver Children’s home, from creating new classrooms to the construction of new dorms and kitchens. Giving the children there a great place to live and learn...

 
Chuck Pittman

Construction Manager – Chuck Pittman

Chuck has over 25 years experience in the construction industry and has been in the Marine Corp for 13 years. He has been married to the same great lady for 20 years and has two wonderful children. He is very passionate about what he does and he can't think of anything else he would rather do for a living. When he is not working he allows his 2003 Fatboy to take him wherever it wants. Chuck's infamous saying is "it's not the destination, it's the journey and all the side roads you take that make it interesting."

 
Ed Romero

Project Manager – Ed Romero

Ed's eye for quality has complimented his 30 year construction experience building log and custom homes. His work ethic has made the vision of a quality model home for the local major builders a reality. The attention to detail has brought recognition by his peers and local builders with numerous quality awards.

Customer service has always been top priority and the friendly relationships’ developed with clients is an important part of his success. Interactive communication with trade partners assures building a better home working together for the common goal of customer satisfaction. His simple saying of "do what is right, not what is easy" is the foundation of his quality spirit.

 
Conni Zittel

Office Manager – Conni Zittel

Conni joined Basements & Beyond with over 25 years of bookkeeping and administration experience. She has specialized in the construction industry for over 10 years. Conni and her husband Michael have been married for 30 years and are blessed with two grown children. Conni is responsible for accounting, human resources, insurance requirements, setting up trade partners and customer service. She enjoys her position and is proud to be a member of the Basements & Beyond team. One of her favorite quotes is "Pleasure in the job puts perfection in the work."

 
Leon Hamilton

Lead Designer – Leon Hamilton

Leon is a degreed designer from Colorado State University with a Bachelors degree in Interior Design. He comes to Basements & Beyond with over 11 years of experience in the custom residential remodeling field. His design experience ranges in scope from: basements, bathrooms and kitchen remodeling, to additions, tear-offs and whole house remodel projects. Leon’s designs have won many awards with the HBA, including several at the (C.A.R.E. Awards) Colorado Awards for Remodeling Excellence. Leon is a native of St. Paul Minnesota, but has lived in Colorado since 1993. In his spare time he enjoys golfing, painting, biking, cooking and traveling to new places.

 
Justin Brown

Jr. Project Manager – Justin Brown

Justin has been working as a Field Technician for the past 8 years. His vast experience in the construction industry consists of building custom homes for the past 10 years. He enjoys remodeling kitchens, bathrooms and basements as well as building decks and patios. His greatest construction accomplishment was helping to build a 9,000 square foot log cabin in Sedalia, CO. Originally from Chautauqua, NY, Justin has been in Colorado for 8 years. He enjoys outdoor activities such as skiing, camping and boating. He also enjoys traveling and spending time with his friends and family.

 
Chuck Karling

Field Technician – Chuck Karling

Chuck's motto is "we can build anything with nothing – the impossible will take a little longer." His work definitely speaks for itself. He has been in construction for 18 years and if he wasn't doing construction for Basements & Beyond he would be doing remodeling projects at home as well as for friends and relatives.

Chuck and his wife have been married for 30 years and they have a son, a daughter and 3 grandchildren. He loves animals, especially cats and he also loves any kind of good music.
