Owner – Wes Cooper
Wes is a 4th generation general contractor. Stemming from a family who is heavily involved in commercial construction, Wes, found his passion in residential remodeling. Originally graduating from University with a degree in Finance, Wes supplemented his education by studying Construction Management and Green Building at Colorado State University. Wes takes personal interest by visiting each project multiple times during the construction process. In addition to maintaining the highest level of construction quality, Wes values customer service as the most important differentiating factor between us and our competition. Wes promotes an open door policy; whereby clients can feel free to communicate directly with him.
Marketing Director – Tammy Cooper
Tammy joined Basements & Beyond with over 25 years of professional sales and marketing experience. Tammy put herself through university graduating with an honors degree in Political Science, Law and Marketing. Following this, Tammy worked as a Marketing Manager for two Fortune 100 companies: Hewlett-Packard and General Mills. In this role, she gained important skills which she has translated in her role as a Marketing Director for Basements & Beyond.
Her passion for fashion and decorating coupled with her experience in marketing and sales provide for one exceptional skill set. Her dedication to her clients and her love for residential construction makes marketing the perfect profession! As a result, Tammy prides herself on representing one of the most renowned and prestigious residential remodeling companies in Colorado.
Tammy's corporate background in marketing and her sense of integrity, professionalism and her hard work have earned her a great level of trust and loyalty among her colleagues and clients.
Tammy speaks both French and English fluently.
Volunteering is an important part of life for Tammy. She devotes a lot of her personal time to a number of charitable organizations. She is a Director of the Cloverleaf Foundation and is an active participant in the community.
Construction Manager – Chuck Pittman
Chuck has over 35 years experience in the construction industry and was in the Marine Corp for 13 years. He has been married to the same great lady and has two wonderful children. He is very passionate about what he does and he can't think of anything else he would rather do for a living. Chuck has found a passion in sailing and escapes to his sail boat whenever he has a chance. Chuck's infamous saying is "it's not the destination, it's the journey and all the side roads you take that make it interesting."
Project Development – Kenn Seaman
Kenn comes to Basements & Beyond with 20 years of professional experience in industries where sound communication and management skills are paramount. Past experiences and knowledge have been gained in the fields of advertising, publishing, sales, and retail.
Through his career history establishing value for the client while maintaining loyalty to the employer has been a top priority. Kenn excels at understanding client's interests and needs while maintaining relationships, most lasting many years.
Being born and raised in Buffalo, New York, Kenn moved to Denver after finishing his undergraduate and Master's degrees from Kent State University. Having lived in a home built in 1891 and a 1951 ranch he has always enjoyed the aspect of combining modern styles and amenities with a 19th century home and a midcentury home respectively.
Kenn's skill set can be attributed to his varied experiences and deep rooted belief in connecting clients with the quality product and service they deserve.
Project Development – Bob Witte
Bob comes with vast experience in the print and catalog industries. Originally from Illinois, Bob and his family relocated to the Denver area in 2015 and have quickly adopted the Colorado lifestyle by spending time outdoors whenever they can.
Bob has a keen sense for design and remodeling after years of self-performing many projects on his own. Remodeling comes naturally to Bob and his clients find that he has great insight and knowledge to their projects.
Project Manager – Don Shepherd
Don started in the Construction industry when he was 18. He started as a Framer and has worked pretty much in every field. He enjoys spending time with his kids and spends all his money on Golf, working on his home and is in the process of getting his son into Dirt Bike Racing.
Lead Designer – Rachel Bunke
Rachel holds a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from the Art Institute of Colorado and comes to Basements and Beyond with 5 ½ years of remodeling and design/build experience. Her favorite parts of the design process are space planning and drafting - she enjoys bringing client’s ideas to life and sharing interesting solutions for their project. In her spare time, Rachel enjoys spending time with her fiancé, running and binge-watching TV shows on Netflix.
Office Manager – Mary Walts
Mary joined Basements & Beyond with over 15 years of bookkeeping and administration experience. She has specialized in the construction industry for over 10 years. Mary is responsible for accounting, human resources, insurance requirements, setting up trade partners and customer service. She enjoys her position and is proud to be a member of the Basements & Beyond team and we value her as a huge asset to our operations."
Field Technician – Steven Atterby
Steven can build anything with nothing – the impossible will take a little longer." His work definitely speaks for itself. He has been in construction for 18 years and if he wasn't doing construction for Basements & Beyond he would be doing remodeling projects at home as well as for friends and relatives.
Steven and his wife have several children and live north of Denver in Lochbuie.
Field Technician – Juan Garcia
Juan has worked in construction since 2004. He has 9 years experience in high end remodel and enjoys working hands on. Juan is very particular and tuned to detail. Juan is a devoted husband, and father of two boys. Outside of work and family you would most likely find Juan on a soccer field or working on his house. He is passionate about health and fitness and enjoys keeping himself at his best.
Field Technician – Jim Guthrie
A native of Colorado, I acquired my love for woodworking/carpentry in junior high and high school wood shop class, and joined the Carpenter's Apprenticeship in 1970. I have since worked commercial and residential construction throughout my career, holding several Project Management and Supervisory positions. I've been married to my wife, Margie, for over 20 years. She is retired from Jeffco Schools. I have 2 grown children, Laura & Jeff, both married, one 3 year old grandson, Brett, and two Blue Heelers, Kyah & Bella Bleu. My hobbies include collecting and listening to music, going out dancing with my wife at least once a week, and woodworking projects in my shop.
Field Technician – Damian Adams
Damian Adams has been working in construction for nearly 10 years now. He began doing remodeling work as a teenager where he gained a passion for working with his hands. He has some experience in nearly every trade, including commercial work, but truly prefers the detail oriented and customer satisfaction driven work that Basements & Beyond offers.
